Refreshing Ginger Tea Recipe

This simple ginger tea recipe which can be used for a variety of ailments. Traditionally used to promote circulation and aid digestion. Best of all you already have all of the ingredients on hand!

Ingredients:

2 cups of Water
1 inch Freshly grated Ginger root (alternatively 1tspn Ginger powder)
1 tsp Honey‎ to flavour the latte. (*Optional)
1/2 lime (Optional)

 

Method:

    1. Place water into a pot on high heat for 3 minutes.
    2. Add Ginger
    3. Add lime juice
    4. Continue to boil on high for an extra 5 minutes. Lower heat and simmer for a further 5mins
    5. Strain tea and pour into cup, when the tea has cooled add honey for flavouring.

* Note: Honey added to high temperatures kills off the medicinal properties of honey.
** May assist with dis-ease such as bloating, gas, poor circulation.
